WELCOME!
My wife and I are foodies and often find ourselves planning our trips and excursions around finding new and cool places to eat. Our weekend motorcycle rides often provide the perfect reason to try new places. If you're new to the area or a native Utahn, here i hope to share some of our local favorites you may not be aware of that you can share with friends and loved ones. If you read through our list and think we might like one of your favorites, reach out and share it with us. If we love it, I'll add it to the growing list.
NORTHERN UTAH:
LaBeau's - Garden City, UT If you are traveling in or around the Bear Lake area you will want to stop and grab a fresh raspberry shake. Hands down one of the best real raspberry shakes you'll find anywhere. https://www.labeaus.com/.Plan on waiting in a line during the summer months. Open seasonally depending on weather conditions, so check before you make the trip.
Taggart's Grill - Morgan, UT Just off I-84 between Morgan and Henefer and next to the Weber River is this little treasure. Open year around, this is the most formal/informal place you may eat in Utah. With in/outdoor dinning options, you may want to wait during the warmer months to eat outside. Why? The setting is incredible and peacocks roam the grounds while you eat. Everything offered is great and the selection is different from many Utah restaurants. Maddox Ranch House: Maddox Ranch House has been called “Utah’s Original Steakhouse” and “One of the most popular eating places in Utah,” and truly has a taste and a style all its own. Located in Perry, Utah, near the mouth of Sardine Canyon, the Ranch House is know for it’s steaks, fried chicken, bison and made from scratch rolls. https://maddoxfinefood.com/
PARK CITY/MIDWAY/HEBER VALLEY:
Billy Blanco's - Park City, UT If you're looking for a spot to grab some Southwestern/Mexican food and a beer, this is the place. Just outside Park City in Jeremy Ranch, this restaurant will be a hit for anyone that wants to feel like they're eating in their garage. With choppers topping the bar and tables set beneath car lifts with vintage muscle cars above you, for a unique experience. High West Saloon - Park City, UT Just off the famed Main St. in Park City, this will be a spot you will want to return to, frequently. The town is awesome, the food delicious and whiskey fine. Riverhorse On Main - Park City, UT Expensive, but worth every damn penny. It gets all kinds of awards every year. If you're looking for something special, this might be the place. https://www.riverhorseparkcity.com/
No Name Saloon - Park City, UT A great place to people watch while having some lunch. The food is excellent and wont cost a fortune. You can eat inside the bar or request to sit on the roof top patio. Wide variety to make sure everyone you take will find something they'll enjoy. https://www.nonamesaloon.net/

Woodland Biscuit Company - Woodland, UT Breakfast, Breakfast, Breakfast. This is one of our favorites and I'm sure it will be one of yours as well. About 15 min South East of Park city, this small cafe converted from an old general store will be sure to please. Made from scratch biscuits, unique ingredients with a flare on traditional plates your tastebuds will thank you. Cafe Galleria - Midway, UT Rustic Italian on Midway’s historic Main Street is always a hit when we visit. You can stop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner and it’s all good. Midway Mercantile - Midway, UT An upscale rustic take on the American traditional menu. Quaint spot with a large wood fire hearth as you enter. The menu changes with market and seasonal foods as well as fresh seafood and oysters flown in daily. https://www.midwaymercantile.com/

Midway Bakery - Midway, UT Cinnamon Rolls!!! I love cinnamon rolls, they are my favorite and this place has the best in the state. I'm told their other treats are just as good but no need to try with sweet rolls this good. June Pies - Heber, UT I know, you hear pie and think dessert right? At June Pies, not only do they have really good seasonal dessert pies, they also have amazing dinner pies. The pie line-up always changes so its good to find them on insta and check what they offering for the week. Also, you should know that the damn things sell out quick. When they're gone they're gone for the day and they close up shop. Don't want a whole pie, no problem. Back 40 grill - Heber, UT Its always busy and the food is always consistently good. It might not look like a place you'd expect to get a great meal, but the farm to table process they use ensures the food is fresh. It's also priced very reasonable considering its neighbors using similar farm to table ideals. https://www.back40utah.com/
Granny's Drive In - Heber, UT Old fashioned burgers and shakes... Thats it! It's always busy so plan on a 15- 30 min wait to order. http://www.grannysdrivein.com/

Ruth's Dinner - Salt Lake City, UT One of our favorite diners around. The main restaurant section is a converted SLC Trolley car with a large patio area around back. The breakfast is amazing, but stop by for lunch or dinner and listen to the live music while you eat. Arrive early or plan on a wait time. https://ruthsdiner.com/
Red Iguana - Salt Lake City, UT One of the best mexican restaurants Utah has to offer. Featured on numerous food programs, its a multi winner of best of state and a variety of other awards. As they say it’s “killer food worth the wait.” https://www.rediguana.com/
Lucky 13 - Salt Lake City, UT Looking for a damn good burger? This place has some of the best burger combinations you've never imagined. The garlic fries are incredible and the Bloody Mary's topped with their in-house smoked bacon are perfect! A great place for Sun. brunch. Copper Onion - Salt Lake City, UT The Copper Onion delivers a welcoming and approachable dining experience for all. The Rest - Salt Lake City, UT A hidden gem in the heart of SLC, literally. This SLC speakeasy is hidden away from the public and you must have a reservation to dine. The main front is the Bodega and to enter the restaurant you walk through what appears to the restroom door. The atmosphere is 2nd to none and the unique food pairings along with their drink selection are really good. Ruth's Chris - Salt Lake City, UT Just a good old fashioned steakhouse that always performs at a high level. The food quality is always exceptional, the atmosphere is ok, but its the service that keeps us going back. Penny Ann's Cafe - Draper, UT Breakfast your go to? This cafe has the best damn pancakes around along with all your other favorite comfort foods. The service is excellent and always a great place to take the family. https://pennyannscafe.com/
The Charleston - Draper, UT 2021 OpenTable Diners' Choice Winner, this small Draper restaurant is always busy so make sure to make your reservation. If you can dine here in the spring, summer or fall months to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor dining area. UTAH VALLEY:
Maria Bonita - Orem, UT Tacos, tacos, tacos... Need I say more? One of the best Mexican restaurants around. Anyone that I've sent here has always reached back out and said thats the best authentic Mexican they've had. Small location with tons of love. Foundry Grill - Sundance, UT One of the top restaurants in Utah County. Located up provo canyon in the Sundance Ski Resort, you'll find yourself dinning in an industrial cabin setting. Nori Sushi & Grill - American Fork, UT Small sushi spot that is unfortunately becoming more well know. You can expect a bit of wait during the evening hours for great sushi and other fresh dishes for a great price. Try the prawns! Sorry no site for these guys, hit up the old google for directions.
Asahi Sushi Bar - Orem, UT similar to Nori, Asahi has amazing sushi in the north Orem area. The prices are always good and the sushi fresh. Folks say its the best sushi in the state... This is a frequent spot for my wife and her friends, so it must be excellent. Again, no site. To google you go.
Joe's Cafe - Orem, UT Another amazing breakfast spot. Make sure to arrive early as there is limited seating and the place is packed. La Carreta - Orem, UT Established in 1995, we are a Peruvian restaurant of high renown in Utah County, with exceptionally fine cuisine. We specialize in seafood, beef, chicken and vegetable dishes. Also, our restaurant offers several imported beverages. Alejandra, the owner of La Carreta, has brought many authentic and personal recipes from Peru to delight us. JCW's The Burger Boys - American Fork/Lehi, UT Fast food not quite so fast. All the burgers are cooked to order on a real grill when you order with fresh bacon and other ingredients. Glades Drive Inn - Spanish Fork, UT Longing for an old school drive in burger and fresh lime? Glade's will take you back in time with their walk up window ordering and eating in the car. No site here either.

Oscar’s Cafe - Springdell, UT When Hank and Kathy Moore were traveling through Europe, Italy, and France, they always chose outdoor eateries and thought how nice they were. Upon returning to the states, they were traveling through Zion National Park and stopped at Oscar’s Cafe.
At that time, the cafe was a small town walk-up and order eatery. Hank met the owner and casually said, "if you ever want to sell this place, I’ll buy it." The next day the original owner called Hank and took him up on his offer.
